Saint Nicodemus has inspired Christians to live spiritual lifes and taught the principles of Christian life to the crew of the church. His contribution to the Church is very important. His comprehensible teaching, as it is being tracked in his work, leads Christians, through secure criteria, to the Orthodox spirituality. The reason and the challenge behind the choice of the subject is the investigation of tranquillizing spirituality, as it was interpreted by Saint Nicodeme. Through research we realize that the criteria of the spirituality's constitute secure conditions for the construction of a healthy intellectual life, even nowadays. The tranquillizing life inspires the believers, and it chooses Saints even in our days, as it is proved by the recent Saint classification of two Mount Athon's monks Saint Paisios and Saint Porfyrios.
