Reading, for the revised CPE examination, is a two-book series designed to cater for the needs of CPE candidates. The purpose of the two Reading books is to develop candidates' understanding of written English, enabling them to perfect the comprehension skills needed to cope successfully with the requirements of this part of the examination.
Each unit contains an entire CPE Reading Paper, divided into five parts. Following each part is a variety of vocabulary exercises which will allow candidates to enrich their word power and encounter different aspects of word usage.
This approach will help candidates acquire ample practice in understanding the finer points of complex texts while gaining a well-rounded vocabulary, both of which are required for success in the revised CPE examination.
