[{"id":115530,"title":"Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Αταλάντης","subtitle":null,"description":"Το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Αταλάντης εγκαινιάστηκε στις 27 Σεπτεμβρίου 1998 και στεγάζεται στο κτήριο του Παλαιού Γυμνασίου Αταλάντης, το οποίο παραχωρήθηκε στη ΙΔ΄ Εφορεία Προϊστορικών και Κλασικών Αρχαιοτήτων με ομόφωνη απόφαση του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου για τη στέγαση και έκθεση των αρχαίων της επαρχίας Λοκρίδας (Εικ. 4). Το κτήριο κατασκευάστηκε στις αρχές του 20ού αιώνα και αρχικά προοριζόταν για σχολείο. Σε αυτό λειτούργησε έως το 1990 περίπου το Γυμνάσιο και το Τεχνικό Λύκειο Αταλάντης. Με Υπουργική Απόφαση χαρακτηρίστηκε ως ιστορικό διατηρητέο μνημείο. Λόγω παλαιότητας και μακροχρόνιας χρήσης το κτήριο είχε υποστεί πολλές φθορές. Η ΙΔ΄ ΕΠΚΑ το παρέλαβε το 1994 και με τις κατά έτος διαθέσιμες πιστώσεις προχώρησε σε ένα πρόγραμμα ουσιαστικών επισκευών και αποκατάστασης της αρχικής παραδοσιακής μορφής του κτηρίου, με αυτεπιστασία και μικρού κόστους εργολαβίες, καθιστώντας το έτσι λειτουργικό και ασφαλές. Το κτήριο διαθέτει δύο ορόφους. Λόγω κλίσης του εδάφους από Β.-Ν., η βορινή όψη του είναι ισόγεια, ενώ η ανατολική και η νότια διώροφες. Η είσοδος του Μουσείου είναι από Β. Στο προαύλιο έχουν διαμορφωθεί υπόστεγοι χώροι με κιγκλιδώματα, όπου φυλάσσονται λίθινα ευρήματα. Η έκθεση καταλαμβάνει τον κεντρικό διάδρομο και τις τρεις κεντρικές αίθουσες του ισογείου (α' ορόφου). Το υπόλοιπο ισόγειο (α' όροφος) και το υπόγειο χρησιμεύουν για τις λοιπές λειτουργίες του Μουσείου και ως έδρα του προσωπικού που ασχολείται με τις σωστικές ανασκαφές και τα ευρήματα της περιοχής. Βρέθηκε όμως διαλυμένο σε πολλά κομμάτια, διεσπαρμένα σε ένα δρόμο και ένα γειτονικό στο δρόμο κτήριο, ακριβώς στη θέση που κατέληξαν κατά τη διάρκεια μιας μεγάλης καταστροφικής πυρκαγιάς στις αρχές του 15ου αιώνα π.χ. Τα διάφoρα θραύσματα ήλθαν στο φως τα έτη 1987, 1988 και 1990.\u003cbr\u003eΤο αγαλμάτιο αυτό είναι μοναδικό αριστούργημα της μινωικής τέχνης (ύψος περ. 50 εκ., μέγ. πλάτος 18,5 εκ. στους αγκώνες). Πρόκειται για μoρφή σύνθετη, κατασκευασμένη από ελεφαντόδοντο, χρυσό, oφίτη (σερπεντίνη), ορεία κρύσταλλο και ξύλο, με προσθήκη χρωματισμού αιγυπτιακής προέλευσης. Ονομάστηκε \"Κούρος του Παλαίκαστρου\" από την όρθια στάση του, με προτεταμένο το αριστερό πόδι. Δεν υπάρχει αμφιβολία ότι οφείλει τη στάση αυτή του σώματος στην υπερχιλιετή παράδοση παρόμοιων αιγυπτιακών μορφών, όπως ακριβώς και η μεγάλη σειρά πολύ μεταγενέστερων αρχαϊκών ελληνικών λίθινων \"κούρων\".\u003cbr\u003eΓια να κατανοήσει κανείς τους στόχους του αρχιτεχνίτη που το κατασκεύασε και τους σκοπούς για τους οποίους προοριζόταν, είναι απαραίτητη η προσεκτική εξέταση του ίδιου του αντικειμένου. Σημαντικές είναι και οι συνθήκες υπό τις οποίες βρέθηκε, τα υλικά που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν στην κατασκευή του και οι μέθοδοι του καλλιτέχνη. Πληροφoρίες αντλούνται και από τον τρόπο με τον οποίο οι συντηρητές αρχαιοτήτων συναρμολόγησαν με προσοχή τα εκατοντάδες θραύσματα, καθώς και από τη μελέτη του αρχιτεκτονικού περιβάλλοντος στο οποίο είχε τοποθετηθεί κατά την αρχαιότητα. Man hat mit diesem Grab falschlich den runden Bau hellenistischer Zeit in Verbindung gebracht, der die Spitze der Landzunge beherrscht, die den grossen Hafen von Lindos im Norden abschliesst. In der Regel wird das Gebaude »Grabmal des Kleoboulos« (Ag. Aimilianos) genannt (Abb. 4). Der zweite, kleine Hafen ist nach dem Apostel Paulus benannt, der der lokalen Uberlieferung zufolge hier auf seiner Passage von Rhodos an Land gegangen sein soll (Abb. 3). Die Anmut der Landschaft erfasst den Besucher bereits beim ersten Anblick von oben und wahrend des Besuches des »Heiligen Felsen« der Akropolis.\u003cbr\u003eLindos ist zusammen mit den beiden anderen Stadten der Insel, lalysos und Kameiros (oder Kamiros), bereits im fru-hesten Werk griechischer Dichtung, der Ilias (2. Gesang 655-656), erwahnt und zwar in der Textstelle, die von der Teilnahme Rhodos' am Trojanischen Krieg unter der Fuhrung i des Heraklessohnes Tlepolemos berichtet. Auch die my- \" thischen Wurzeln des Ortes gehen auf die graue Vorzeit zuruck, denn der Heros, der ihm seinen Namen gab, war Lindos, einer der drei Sohne des Kerkaphos und Enkel des Stammvaters der Insel, des Sonnengottes Helios, und der Nymphe Rhodos. Il secondo porto, quello piccolo, porta il nome dell'Apostolo Paolo, perche secondo la tradizione locale l'apostolo vi sbarco passando da Rodi (fig. 3). La bellezza del paesaggio impressiona il visitatore sia ad un primo squardo del luogo dall'alto sia durante la visita della rocca sacra dell'acropoli.\u003cbr\u003eLindo e menzionata nel testo poetico piu antico della letteratura greca, l'Iliade (II 655-656), insieme alle altre due antiche citta dell'isola, laliso e Camiro, nel passo che riguarda la partecipazione dell'isola di Rodi alla Guerra di Troia, con a capo FEraclide Tlepolemo. Antichissime sono le radici del sito anche nella tradizione mitologica, . visto che l'eroe eponimo fu Lindo, uno dei tre figli di Cercafo e nipote del dio Helios, capostipite dell'isola e della / ninfa Rhodos. The beautiful landscape enchants visitors when they first see it while approaching the site, and also during their visit to the sacred rock of the acropolis.\u003cbr\u003eLindos, together with the other two early cities on the island, lalysos and Kameiros (or Kamiros), is mentioned in the earliest poetical text of Greek literature, the Iliad (II, 655-656), in the passage relating to the part played by Rhodes in the Trojan War, under the leadership of the Heraklid Tlepolemos. Η σύγχρονη έρευνα όμως, βασισμένη σε ενδελεχέστερη μελέτη των χωρίων του Προκοπίου, των ιστορικών γεγονότων αυτής της περιόδου και της συστηματικής έρευνας του χώρου κοντά στην αρχική Εύροια, σε συνδυασμό με την παντελή έλλειψη αρχαιολογικών ευρημάτων εκείνης της περιόδου από το Κάστρο των Ιωαννίνων, δίνει πειστικότερη απάντηση, αφού τοποθετεί τη νέα Εύροια στο λόφo Καστρίτης Θεσπρωτίας. Η τοποθεσία αυτή εισχωρεί στην Αχερουσία λίμνη, βρίσκεται απέναντι από την αρχική Εύροια (το σημερινό χωριό Γλυκή) και ανταποκρίνεται στις περιγραφές του Προκοπίου. Επιπλέον, στο χώρο αυτό επισημάνθηκαν μεσαιωνικά λείψανα.\u003cbr\u003eΠρέπει 'να φθάσουμε στον 9ο αιώνα μ.Χ. για να συναντήσουμε την πρώτη αναφορά στα Ιωάννινα, μέσα από το όνομα του επισκόπου Ιωαννίνων Ζαχαρία. Ήδη έχουν συμβεί καταλυτικές πολιτικές ανακατατάξεις. Οι επιδρομές των βαρβαρικών φύλων και η νέα πολιτική του βυζαντινού κράτους οδήγησαν σε μαρασμό τα μέχρι τότε αστικά και θρησκευτικά κέντρα. Τον 9ο αιώνα η Νικόπολη παύει να υπάρχει ως οργανωμένο αστικό κέντρο.
